Inspired by the patterns and colours of vintage lures and the little characters they create. This is the perfect card for any fishing enthusiasts you may know.

As the wild is our greatest inspiration and more importantly our beloved home, we feel like it is important to create products that are environmentally friendly. All of the papers that we use are currently recycled, at least in part. In 2021, it is our mission to transition all of our papers to be made from 100% post consumer waste. We have always worked with local printers and will be exploring sustainable printing methods as we grow. The plastic sleeves we use to protect our cards while in retail shops are biodegradable and are optional when ordering, with many wholesalers opting to go plastic free. We understand that this is a small start to more significant changes and will be continuously working to grow in ways that are sustainable and in harmony with our beautiful environment.

Wild Life is created by Kayoko Kawano. A designer living in Tofino, a small surf town on the ruggedly beautiful coast of Vancouver Island. Originally, from Toronto, with a background in the clothing industry, you can sometimes see that the outfits on the little creatures are designed by a trained professional. Moving to Vancouver Island shortly after university opened a new landscape of inspiration and possibilities.

The Pacific Northwest kindled a want to share her love of nature through art and re-awakened a lifelong drawing practice. Inspired by the new experiences exploring the coast and a want to revisit memories of camping as a kid in the Ontario wilderness, Wild Life came to be. Using old fashioned pen and paper and a modern computer, these drawings have been a passion project that continues to grow in wild ways.
