This beginner book is written with three levels of learning - first, learn the number itself, then learn the number and an animal in a full sentence.
This book was a collaboration that grew from a project for a Nuu-chah-nulth language class at North Island College. It was envisioned by a group of language learners - ƛaaʔaqsa Trinity Babichuk (Ucluelet First Nations), Annika Benoit-Jansson, and ḥayuqʷiʔap Christine McCarthy (Ucluelet First Nations). Tleḥpik Hjalmer Wenstob (Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations) illustrated the book.
The entire purchase of this product directly supports the artisan and the Tofino Arts Council.
