Written by Ucluelet Secondary School's Grade 10 English class & art students, the poems honor the experiences of residential school survivors, who they met at Tin Wis Resort in the weeks leading up to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th.
The poetry book is part of a larger collection of student-created projects that were, alongside an exhibit from Legacy of Hope Foundation, shared with the general public on and around September 30th.
Proceeds from sales will support further Truth and Reconciliation student activities at Ucluelet Secondary School.
