Rising Tide or mułaa, the Nuu-chah-nulth Surf Team, is open to any Nuu-chah-nulth peoples aged 10 and up, currently most participants are youth. The youth attend weekly surf meetups with the Surf Coach and Indigenous Surf Guides. Mułaa is about more than just surfing, it is about connection to the lands and waters, to each other, and culture.
